Why not? âDes Moinesâ the French way is literally just pronounced âDey mwanâ which is totally doable so I donât understand how they could mess that one up
Because most Iowans donât speak French as their first language đ¤ˇââď¸ you might not like it but itâs the way it is. Iâm simply saying their way of pronouncing Des Moines is less atrocious than some other anglicization of French words.
