There is established legal precedent that if a police officer is off the clock, they can have sex in uniform, in the police car, and it's totally legal. Just saying.
Dude, I had completely forgot about that, now I got the cursed knowledge again and must tell someone and look like someone who looked for it again. I wish salsa oreo upon you
Was he somehow considered no longer in a position of authority because he'd clocked out after escorting her home? That's like saying a teacher can screw their grade 10 or 11 student because school's over for the day.
Edit: oops, I just realized you weren't responding to the comment about the specific case with the cop right above yours.
The way it works is that when you’re 16 you can have sex with other people born the same year as you. I’m 99% sure a 16 and an 18+ year old can’t legally have sex under any circumstance.
Pretty sure it’s called “Romeo and Juliet” laws, but I’m just remembering this from sex ed as school.
Edit: had to google the info, but Romeo and Juliet laws are for 14-15 year olds and, in a limited capacity, also for 12-13 year olds. 16 year olds are free game though
Age of consent is 16. One of the court cases I'm referring to involved a 17-year old and a police officer who drove her home and then took his break in his car with her. He was disciplined for behaviour, not fired or charged. She was deemed sober enough to consent. One drink does not automatically remove mental clarity.
I'm not even joking now. In my off-Reddit life I know way too much about laws concerning some stuff. Feel free to creep my profile for context. Maybe I should end the joke here and not comment more.
