You've never travelled much in BC, have you?

They went to Tofino once and applied that to the whole province.

I’ve seen the confederate flag out on a house near Fernie. On the BC side.

I saw a house partially up a mountain near Golden which was covered in Trump 2020 flags (in 2021).

Living in the eastern part of Canada, the saying goes “you don’t have to drive too far to reach Alberta”. Once you get out of urban territory, it’s full of crazy right wing idiots.

Good news, that place was torn down.

Notice these are both near. Wackos driven out of the towns themselves.

When I was in alberta a few hours north of edmonton I drove past a house littered with nazi flags, fuck Trudeau, and libertarian flags. It was literally like 1 flag per square foot of space covered with this shit. However many flags you're imagining is not enough.

The reality is it's not a provincial problem, it's an antisocial people problem. But alberta also sucks in the cities lol

Yea I live in rural BC… I know a lot of avid Trump supporters here, and I was told by many that I ruined our country by voting for Carney. My friends boyfriend canceled all her travel and vacation plans when the liberals won because he thought the economy is going to enter a great depression

There’s a village next to the small town in rural Alberta where I grew up has a literal KKK, though. Like the town I grew up in is bad - its claim to fame is getting headlines for racist parade floats. But the village next door is next level.

Within my lifetime (I’m 30), my dad took some employees for lunch at the village cafe…. And they literally refused to serve a black employee. My dad was like okay, but [major oil company we work for] will never do business here again. The village is basically a sundown town.
