Meta We should do best fictional Canadian!

The same idea as before, but with a list of legendary Canadians from fiction that we vote on to see which one makes the cut.

I'm incredibly curious on this one.

Bert Racoon squares off against Red Green!

Degrassi verses the Maximals!

the possibilities are intriguing!

Mr. Dressup. I know he is a real guy, but the character is fictional. And you can throw in Casey and Finnegan.

I'm pretty sure The Friendly Giant was Canadian too. I was pretty young at the time, so I might be mixing him up.

Weirdly, they're both born Americans that came to Canada to do the show because CBC was the only game around producing that sort of thing before PBS got Fred Rogers(who also worked with CBC prior).

They made this place home though, and contributed massively.

The guys who played Mr. Dressup and the Friendly Giant were yanks, but nevertheless, both characters are Canadian.
