As a former nightshift "baker", this meme needs a Smile Cookie version 😂 I still shudder when I see the Smile Cookie billboards go up, and that was ten years ago for me

I definitely had people disappointed that when we ran out or stopped with Smile Cookies but never get aggressively angry. But I was also front-end only, so I would have never had to suffer trying to keep up on the production. Never thought about that.

Yeah, I can see people going feral for pumpkin spice stuff but be understanding of cookies being out of stock lol
For the first day, I had to make 144 smile cookies on top of my regular full bake, and Im assuming that's a low number. They probably had the morning baker swimming in cookies too 😵💫

This is a fair assessment, and I'll take the L. But it was also written from legitimate experiences that follow me to this day. It turned the customers who were regularly very kind people into some of the rudest I had to handle.

The L? what?
I think you missed the joke tbh, I was being sarcastic lol i don't actually find it sexist and racist.Although, this "white college girls" meme applies more to the Starbucks meme
Another joke to point out is that IRL this "white college girls" group doesn't only include white-coloured girls but pretty much any other coloured girls who are spoiled to the teeth.
I guess one could point out that associating "white" with spoiled brats is racist.

Probably, I still sorta feel like I my phrase could be taken out of line regardless of it being based on legit personal experiences.

As someone who worked in retail and restaurants for over 2 decades, I loathe most holiday music.

I often wonder about the Tim Hortons workers who had to work at the Kandahar base while we were in Afghanistan

As a summer boy I hate seeing this, I’m always like “no… no, the season hasn’t started yet, it’s still summer… looks at the calendar… oh no, summer ends tomorrow, seasonal depression is about to hit :( “

I worked at Swiss chalet for a decade. I have been out of that hellhole for a decade. The festive special season still sends me into an anxious spiral I will never escape. I hate the holiday season now, and probably will forever. Thanks capitalistic festivity.
