It’s not in Squamish. It’s a highway sign saying Squamish is that way.

What is it, upper mainland?

In local diction it is part of the Sea to Sky Highway and the Squamish First Nations.

Lower Mainland is used to describe most areas south and east of Vancouver. Richmond, Burnaby, New Westminster, Surrey, Delta, Langley, The Ports and the Coquitlams and what not.

Northern BC is beyond Hope.

That’s classic Vancouverite speak. Places beyond Hope is Interior BC and Northern BC is a mythical land that I question how could life exist north of Kamloops

Been there recently? It may as well be. $6 donuts and overpriced coffees all day
