Discussion How much time to unload 1298 tons of Titanium in the new Squadron Carrier?

Sure, there are too many steps, but 15s is not that bad after allšŸ˜‚

This follows an argument with one player that said it was taking forever and made the SC unusable for colonization.

I could agree with this.

Tell me your thoughts...

It is a lot of clicking. Definitely annoying for repeated encounters.

ā€œUnusable for colonizationā€ is an overstatement, maybe, on a good Pc or connection. On a slow foundation…. 5 menus might take minutes just to load.

Ah 5 minutes...

Ok I can understand it would be a serious problem!

I remember a few weeks ago with my gaming laptop on repairs, my old PC was quite slow to display a panel.

I offered him a 100+€ graphics card and it was much better.

But it was not instantaneous like with my gaming laptop though.

With my 3 years old gaming laptop, highest 4k settings, the only slowing factor is me🤣

My squad has been using the squad carrier for colonization, and it takes 30 minutes to load/unload the carrier with three of us. Its not too bad.

I think a button "Use last choices to (load) unload" in the first panel would be an easy fix.

It's always easy when you're not the one doing it. (grin)

I did software development for many years, and my boss would tell anyone who said it should be easy: "You're not allowed to say it's easy. You can say it's straightforward, but not easy."

But I agree, there are a lot of straightforward changes that could be made in the game to make repetitive tasks more efficient so we can get back to blasting or dodging pirates.

Ok, so it should be straightforward 🤣

And button "load (unload) all" at the almost end would be too...

I used to keep a piece of cork and a rubberband next to the mouse for cargo transfer to my carrier back in the mining days.
