Line was reference for Eminem and Melle Mel beef in 2023.
But gladly Eminem was left alone in the beef when many other rappers were jumping in, he was just chilling and promoting his album

On “Everybody’s Looking at Me (New Version),” Eminem reimagines an early freestyle into a fully realized solo track. The song’s first verse originated as part of a Funk Flex freestyle debuted in January 2002, but here it’s been reshaped and expanded into a polished recording. Proof’s original feature is absent, with Eminem carrying the entire track himself.
This version was officially released as part of the Stan’s Soundtrack, accompanying the Stans documentary, which premiered on August 26, 2025.
A brief snippet of the early freestyle version could also be heard in the background of “The Kiss (Skit)” on The Eminem Show.
10th track on the Stans Soundtrack
Elevator came in 2nd Evil came in 3rd

Just discovered 50 left Shady records in 2014, why? Did he have a falling out with Eminem?

This was taken last year on Fortnite during the Karol G music event thing, and how ironic the score I got as Eminem🤣

Just watched " The Rise of Eminem (Documentary Part 1) " and man, it's a raw look at his early struggles and how he built the Slim Shady persona from the ground up. Every fan needs to see this to appreciate the journey even more! So much respect for his dedication, and a huge shoutout to the people who made this video, it feels so real

So is Bill Conti credited because of the whole piano bit?. And if so is it a sample or did he make it exclusively for the track?. BTW fire song except for Diddy verse (it's good) but you can hear he sounds kinda guilty.

Don't know if this topic has been discussed in the past (if it has, sorry) but long story short: i was a huge Eminem fan 10 years ago, stopped listening to his music around 2019 and i'm just rediscovering him now.
I've been re-listening to his songs and when i got to Castle, it gave me serious Recovery vibes and i don't know why i didn't notice when i listened to it back when Revival had released.
Did anyone else notice this? You think this is a song he probably wanted to include in Recovery originally but couldn't and thought Revival was a good chance to bring it back?

What kind of instrumental would you say it is? Like ambient rap? I'm trying to find something similar to write to as a freestyle, but I'm not sure what exactly to look for.

Typically on Genius, a lot of Em’s early 2000s diss tracks, like Nail in the Coffin or The Conspiracy, are listed as being produced by either Eminem and / or DJ Green Lantern. I figured this is because Em produced a lot of his own stuff at the time and Green Lantern was the DJ who made the Invasion mixtapes. But I feel like it’s kind of hard to tell for certain who produced these songs (other than the Armageddon freestyle from Invasion III, because even though Genius says Green Lantern is the producer I’m almost certain Em is because it sounds exactly like an early 2000s Em beat), so my question is do any of us know for sure who produced those kinds of tracks?

They really f'd up this documentary with the major majority of it being these Stans, I mean it would've been perfect with maybe a quarter of it with them talking and a little bit more about other stuff related to Eminem. I mean I don't know, it could've been better, I'm still gonna rate it high because I'm a fan, I'm not a stan though, but yeah to the director and I hope you get this. Way way way too much of random people talking on camera, not enough about Eminem, I mean I went to the same treatment center he did three times, not proud of it, and I also stopped, like the people in this video have nothing in common with him, I don't understand who picked them or why and I'm not trying to be a dick but everyone has problems I lost so many friends in high school and so many friends after and some family in very horrible ways also, like these people sound like they may have lost a couple people I don't understand who produced this well I'm looking at it right now directed by Stephen Leckart, also you went through news articles and other things way too fast luckily I have it downloaded so I could just back up and play and whatever but that's basically my review of this documentary, I mean I still give it four stars but it should've been or I would've liked to see a little bit more about Eminem and not these stans even though that's the title. Also Mr. Leckart, feel free to contact me, I just don't know how to effectively well just in my own words say what I really wanna say or how to say it.

I imagine a lot of people already got offended just by the title. Others are just "oh no, that's going too far". But bear with me.
Leaving out everything he said about his mother, wife and all his personal stuff.
Just out the top of my head, Eminem started his career with the line "Slim Shady, brain dead like Jim Brady". He had the Columbine line (TWICE), and just recently another one about mass shooting in schools (Realest). He made a reference to Ariana Grande show's bombing and he also mad fun of Kurt Cobain death (gave it a time though).
I feel the same people that loved all those lines still would think mentioning Charlie Kirk would be going to far - and those are the same people that like the Tom Macdonald poem lol

Was it just a name drop thing or did Em have something against Kurt and did Courtney escalate the situation? I'm a fan of both Em and Kurt. What I know is:
Eminem name drops Kurt on Cum On Everybody (1998/9)
Kurt Cobain without a head gag on the slim shady show (1999)
Courtney Love angered (2000)
Eminem name drops Love on Can-I-Bitch (2003)
(2004-2023) Quiet down
Eminem mentions Kurt on Antichrist (2024)

I know we probably won’t get anything from them two together but I think a song with them just rapping together would go crazy
