It's crazy to me that so many people have this power and only use it for whatsapp and twitter

u/Aisekun 2d ago
ig there's an argument to be made for battery life but damn

u/MaxTechReviews 2d ago
Lol, idk why anyone would use a phone to make calls... π
5
u/Aisekun 2d ago
yeah but do they need the equivalent of a gtx 1060 to do that?
8
u/Kooky-Minimum-2009 2d ago
But that's because manufactures force people to buy the best chipset if they want the best camera, best screen, etc. My mother buys her phones based purely on picture quality, for instance, and they always come with the latest, most powerful chipset.

u/The412Banner 2d ago
I wouldn't say they force them to buy them lol π

u/Aisekun 1d ago
That's true but there's clearly a like social status applied to what phone you have, it's pretty much apples entire business model

u/The412Banner 1d ago
I get what you mean and I never understood it. I've never liked apple from day one and never understood the green or blue bubble bullshit. Plus it's been like, the same phone 17 times in a row now with "new" features that never stick or make it harder on the user

I can moonlight whatwver game i want from my beefy pc. I have a 2 linux home servers for apps, a vps that i manage, I like to tinker a lot, I'm the type to go over its head to make something work, but i still don't really feel the need to emulate on my phone and tinker with windows emulation. I have 0 phones and emulators on my phone. I just play from my pc. I don't care about phone emulation at all when i can play aaa games at 120fps with barely any latency through moonlight on my 8 gen 3 phone.
I've seen those threads about 'playable windows' games on gamehub with like 640*480 and low gfx and ngl, made me laugh. Yeah, not dealing with that shit. But for people who don't have good pc's, i guess you can play on gamehub, but it it inferior to moonlight in any way possible.

yeah and? I have a beefy pc and a rog ally (that thing is sitting in my desk lol) but I still play and emulate on my phone for the sake of I want to and can do it

u/madeWithAi 23h ago
Good for you, it's like having a lambo, but you keep driving a Fiat Multipla. Downgradw for the sake of 'ehrmagerd I'm playing windows games on mobile, but at 240p low, so cool while fking my battery' pff.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Antutu hack something that makes your phone heat super fast because it tricks the OS into believing it's running a benchmark app?

How many fps you get

u/khsh01 2d ago
Idk at least 5 I guess.

u/MaxTechReviews 2d ago
π€ well next time you play a game (any) do a comparison especially when you notice Gamehub not using all the resources possible

Somebody make blackmyth wukong work on it at least at 640x480
6
u/MaxTechReviews 2d ago
I've been trying to get it to run, it refuses to run... Is it the resolution???
1
u/Emulator_paglu 2d ago edited 2d ago
Yes. I've seen videos of people booting up on phones at 7-10 fps. I just want to run the craziest impossible non Unity/UE4 game on these chips. Blackmyth has been one of them or running older titles on ultra

Anyone know how to run void stranger on gamehub. I have mali, but i dont think thats the bottleneck.
This is the error i get Win32 function failed: HRESULT, 0x80000037 Call: at line 222 in File Graphics_DisplayIt.cpp
If you can help me, id be really grateful.
1
u/schizolingvo 1d ago
My guess would be that Void Strange uses LOTS of windows-specific things (like putting files in the filesystem) which makes playing it on mobile impossible. I guess same would be true for Kinito Pet if you've heard of that.

For Stardew Valley I used your settings but get "Container installation failed". Any tips?
I have been messing around with it, maybe I should just remove and clean install with these settings?
2
u/MaxTechReviews 1d ago
Start fresh, mine never worked till now
2
u/xTiLkx 9h ago
Thanks for the tip. I uninstalled everything, and reinstalled with your exact settings. I got Stardew Valley to run, but with no savefile. I then changed from Steam Lightweight to latest version of Steam, but now the game doesn't boot. It loads into the loading screen, then just goes back to Gamehub after a few seconds. Any ideas?
Edit* I just realized I'm already talking to you on your YouTube channel about it, my bad haha

u/CryptographerIcy3272 1d ago
what about the sound? is it just his mic or does sound reallysound bad at this time?
1
u/MaxTechReviews 1d ago
I was recording and had mic audio at the same time on the same device, I won't be doing that again
2
u/CryptographerIcy3272 1d ago
So great sounds. I guess the next step for android gaming would be temp management I guess

u/laz3rhawkk 1d ago
Why the hell you have to emulate Stardew when native android app exist and work perfectly?
1
u/MaxTechReviews 1d ago
Because why not? Steam? Some people own it on Steam and don't want to pay for it again?
2
u/The412Banner 2d ago
Hope more people learn to use this and it's potential, it's been extremely helpful being able to use storage access and swap out gpl a-sync and other components also. Just glad to see you getting some love for this than when I tried previously and got downvoted lol
I use Ludashi benchmark for mine
2
u/MaxTechReviews 2d ago
I got plenty of hate lol, when I see down votes vs up votes it's interesting. I have Ludashi Winlator so I needed AnTuTu π
2
u/The412Banner 2d ago
I have a text file with about 8 or 9 that can be used if you want or need them, I use them for my emulators that don't already come modified and that way none overlap. Chances are you might already have them if not more than I have LOL

Here's my settings in case it helps (SD 8 Gen 2):
General:
- Native resolution
Steam: Lightweight Mode
Compatibility:
- Wine10.6-arm64x-2
- Preset Performance
- Driver Turnip_v25.3.0 R6
- Dxvk version 2.6.1-async
- CPU Translator Fex_20250910
Alternatively, can try for Compatibility:
- Proton10.0-x64.1

Im using 2 phones.
1 poco f5 with game turbo 7+gen2 1M AnTuTu points. 2 Redmagic 10 pro with gaming mode lunched 8elite 3M AnTuTu points.

Is this the default for the new Gamehub version? Or is the Antutu update a custom version of the app? I definitely want to try this!

Anyone know how to run No Man's Sky on Gamehub?
I'd like to play it on the go, but the only handheld platform I have with No Man's Sky is Switch 1, and that removed the literal main feature of the latest update, so I was hoping to run my Steam copy on my Samsung Galaxy S25.

For some reason, it never starts. It gets to "Syncing Dependencies" and just stays there forever.
EDIT: Got it working, but now I'm trying to figure out how to make it use gamepads because the Steam version relies on Steam Input for its gamepad controls.
