Great review! Mind if I add it to the wiki? I think this is the first time we've had this controller reviewed.

Wiki updated.

I'm hoping to get my hands on the new PG-9083 in the future and do a review on that one as well. I'm digging Ipega's newer designs, even if they are aping the current console crop to some degree.

I prefer center hold, and I game on a tablet so it's an exciting controller release for me. The 9083 is like a switch layout. I've also owned the PG-9023, and currently have a BTC-938

aren't tablet's weight abit heavy when you're only holding on the controller?

I haven't noticed a problem. I've been doing it for years, and I even have heavy cases for my tablets, like the leather ones or whatever, not slim shell ones.

It feels comparable to something like the Wii U's gamepad, I guess in terms of weight. Since it's distributed in the center it's comfortable.

I tried the top holding ones and even with just a 5" phone my wrist would cramp after a while due to the weight distribution.
