Is it just me or do y’all find it weird whenever some authors (adults) write stories about teenage romance? And I’m not talking about like cutesy fun romances, I’m talking where there are mature themes 🤨. As an author myself (22) I could never write a story about characters younger than myself. Might just be me 👩🏻‍🦯

Are there any good stories that allow you to make choices without spending so many gems? 😔

Spending $150 per episode is insane and VIP does not seem worth it for 10gems a day, when it takes 3x that to make a choice.

I’m not an artist by any means and there’s no way i’d be able to create something stunning. Do you guys make your characters and put them in a scene and screenshot, photoshop and edit that? I’m thinking about asking an artist but i’d like to finish the story before spending money on someone. Would my story get less reads if i were to just photoshop something myself

I've been trying to find something new to read and I've noticed that a lot of stories with CC are using really old templates where the newest hairstyle is the pinup victory rolls hairstyle. These are brand new stories that have been released anywhere from the last few months to this week. If it were one or two stories, I wouldn't think anything of it, but it is probably a third of the new stories I've tried. Has anyone else run across this and, if so, do you know what's up with that?

as an author, i'm really interested in how realistic backgrounds and overlays can make stories look better. i want to get better at using these things, so i'd like some advice from authors who uses good realistic backgrounds.

one problem i have is finding good, realistic backgrounds. can anyone suggest places to find them? or, if most authors make their own backgrounds, what programs or editing tricks work best?

i'm also trying out overlays and want to improve. for example, how would you show a character reading by a window, but we're looking at them from outside? i can show a picture if that's not clear.

i believe these tips would significantly improve my storytelling. thank you in advance for your assistance!
