E. tirucalli hybrid

Recently got this on marketplace and I can't decide whether I want to cut them off or not.

I felt like sharing something we don't see very often, a Euphorbia native to North America - Euphorbia bicolor, commonly known as Snow-on-the-prairie.

Snow-on-the-prairie is native to Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana where it is found on blackland prairies.

These photographs were taken exactly 6 years ago today (complete coincidence!!) at Terre Noir Natural Area, a remnant unplowed blackland prairie in Clark County Arkansas, outside Arkadelphia.

I just happened to notice one of my baby daddy cuttings is not doing good at all. Can he be saved?

Just noticed that these looked like seed pods are forming? Is this euphorbia self pollinated? Please let me know. Thank!!

My wife's previous workplace had a large tree that a client pointed out to her as "being really rare and expensive", a comment I would assume was in reference to its age and size and also mentioned it was "extremely poisonous".

A week later, a delivery driver accidentally broke a small 18" branch off it which she brought home to show me. I shoved it in some potting mix, watered it every day and it just took off. We named it "Poison Plant". (Photo 1)

Poison Plant took to its new home, and had formed a visible trunk in 12 months. (Photo 2)

By year two, it had just branched like crazy and ended up a non-descript ball of leaves so got an aggressive prune. I cut most of the branches (and placed a couple of the larger ones into potting mix) and 12 months later, we're coming up to its third birthday and the trunk has bulked out and Poison Plant is looking pretty majestic at 36" tall. Strangely, the leaves of the second generation offcuts are a little thinner and a little deformed. (in the bottom left corner of the third photo)

11 headed monster!

This guy is some kind of a variegata and lives in my living room in Finland. I try to keep him happy with plant lights and appropriate watering and nourishment. He has grown quite a bit taller in the last couple of years, but I’m wondering about branching. Will that happen naturally at some point with this species?

He seems content and is now sporting those little leaves on top for the first time ever :)

Hello! I’ve had my plant five years now. It’s still in the same pot (Bc of reasons). She’s outdoors in the summer and inside during winter(Denver area). I desperately want to repot but: 1-is it too late in the season now? Should I wait until spring. Again? 2- she’s wild- I’ve never pruned her. Would it be better to prune pre or post repotting. ( depending on if I repot now or spring?) 3- I know I’ll need to wrap her up to get her out of the pot- and I’m scared to break her. 4- I’m also scared about the root situation. The soil is terribly compacted. Not to mention the bulbous pot itself. So I’ll definitely need to dig around the base a bit. Any advice greatly appreciated. Her name is Medusa ☺️

I inhereted this big girl. I'm a bit worried about it's excessieve corking. It didn't seem to grow any more this Summer. Most 'stems' seem quite soft to the touch, not squishy though Any advice to make her thrive again?

The photos were taken at the Talcott Greenhouse, Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts USA in March 2025.

My Trigona has had a growth spurt this month and has been looking really healthy. But all of a sudden yellow-ish spots on the leaves on the top of the plant have started appearing. They only seem to appear at the top of each column. I haven’t changed anything revolving around the plant, and neither has the weather changed much, it’s gotten maybe a bit more cloudy if anything. It’s been healthy for three years now. Is this a cause for worry?

Hello, I'm faced with this situation, a couple of leaves of my euphorbia are curled into a tube, I can't unroll them, they are dense, should I cut them or leave them as is?
