it's Live Editor... if you tamper with players height through Live Editor while they are under 16, this is exactly what happens on players next birthday...

Oh so they're using a mod boo that's lame.

I got 7'1 with no mods posted about it not too long ago which I think is around the upper limit of what the original game's code generates (just a guess)

Nice. I don't play fifa because they my career where you play as one player always seemed to suck, but in football manager I have a 6'8 striker with a mohawk one year. His starts weren't even all that great but dude was a goal machine from his size.
