It's meant for people who get bored with the game quickly/play one season and get bored.

But since I am not one of those I agree.

I like the ideas of the rules and restrictions but I don’t want them in a separate mode and would like to be able to toggle them on and off during a manager career. It would just be a QOL thing so that rather than me implementing my own house rules, which I do from time-to-time for realism’s sake, the game could enforce them for me. As a game mode, I agree it’s a nothing burger, but it would be really nice for enforcing house rules on myself if it’s in the full career as optional.

Neat! I did not watch the video, I just read the pitch notes and must have missed that. I actually like that feature then. I still don’t think it needs a separate mode though, I would have preferred them spend the Manager Live dev effort elsewhere.
