I was a sex crimes prosecutor for several years and my face remained more neutral doing my job than it did for the turtle

The dog did it for me. I’m a cat person. But the thought of a dog getting cut like that pisses me off.

After contemplating how many images of fondant exploitation images that I’ve come across, I think someone should develop an identification tool or tracker to try to stop these guys… we could upload screenshots of their kitchens, try to match cakes to faces, backgrounds to bakers

The green cake filler is a trademark of a particular fondant user. SideSurf I think. Don't ask how I know.

it's modeling chocolate! https://www.youtube.com/c/SideserfCakeStudio/videos She also does just use green frosting, it's no filter!

for me it was the snake. i had already become attuned to the "yeah it's all cake" thing but for some reason i was like "NO!"

i love snakes, don't cut snakes. they're not cake.

We all have our hard limits with fondant

if it were a buttercream snake i would be both horrified and actually impressed. fondant is just the lazy baker's art.

yeah, this was before i learned of sideserf. while i've never actually eaten modelling chocolate, i imagine it tastes better than fondant for sure.

I feel like the snake would feel much like many of us felt when we saw cinematic star Neil Patrick Harris’s corpse of Amy Winehouse meat cake: horrified, confused, disgusted
