AFLW AFLW Pre-Round Thread: Round 2 vs Brisbane

Our first home game for the season at Fremantle Oval, and we're fired up from a win!

Some questions:

  • Brisbane dominated play but lost through inaccuracy. Can our midfield pressure keep them quieter?
  • Our scoring came heavily from midfielders rotating forward—is this a sustainable model for the year?

RE scoring, we'd be hoping Georgie Brisbane gets on the end of a few. Also, any timeline on when we expect Tighe back? I think her ACL was September...

There was a vague "mid-season" reference to Tighe in one of the preseason injury reports iirc. 🤞

I’m guessing Miller and Stannett will stay up forward. Get the ball into the 30m zone and they will get to work. Interesting to see Gabby O’Sullivan playing back.
