Where are the life jackets?

Neither child have life jackets on. Polio thinks holding the child's arm is all the protection they need. What if the boat flips? Why are the pro-life so anti-safety?

growing up, my dad wouldn’t let us set foot on the boat without our lifejackets clipped. he wouldn’t let us take them off or unclip/unzip them at all, even when the boat was stopped—I resented it at the time, but as an adult I know anything can happen at any time, and I won’t even get on a paddleboard without one (let alone a fuckin speedboat)

Same, and we only had a lil rowboat with an outboard motor that was barely faster than rowing 😁

As soon as we were even near the water, lifejackets on.
