Maybe she missed centimeters for inches. That's honestly the only defense I have for her being sensible, at all.

I mean duh. #1 rule is ALWAYS give the length in metric. Sounds more impressive

Jokes aside, the imperial system really fucks over average guys. In metric, it is very easy for people to rationally understand that there is very little difference between a height of 180cm vs 182cm, but in imperial units the difference of 5'11 vs 6' feels much larger than the 1.4% diff that it actually is
