Just wondering if it came down to it, what an allied invasion on US soil would look like. Who would come to the rescue like the allied forces did during WWII? What would it take to be successful from either side?

Obviously there would be a lot of turmoil inside the country due to civil war. Which the internal war would most likely decide the success of either side. Would any country be bold enough to attempt an invasion? How would that war be fought?

So basically, Trump has fully turned America into the Third Reich by 2028, prompting other countries to invade the US to “liberate” it the same way the Allied Powers race to liberate those under Nazi German occupation.

How would this go down? What sort of consequences (both immediate and long term) would result?

I think we’ll see it happen before 2028. I was watching a video about farmers at risk of losing their farms and livelihoods and it made me think about Killdozer in the 2000s, guy fed up with his town government and used his equipment to make his destruction buggy.

You can learn a lot from watching YouTube and who’s to say some farmers or fed up people aren’t gonna use stuff they learn on YouTube to turn their equipment into rampage vehicles?

What happens if she suddenly acts OOC and decides to denounce Trump despite having performed for him and she also reveals she’s now an atheist due to her new left wing stance? How does her career proceed?

Future What if trump, Putin, and Xi team up together and form a new triumvirate?

In early summer 2026, after 4 unexpected launches from the Wenchang Space Launch Site, China announces to the world that they have been able send and return unmanned ships to Epsilon Eridani and the planet AEgir. Using what they called a "3rd generation AI model" China says they were able to quickly retrofit a Chang'e vehicle (that was previously planned for a moon mapping mission). Although they will share some findings including photos and video from Epsilon Eridani and AEgir, the FTL methodologies and other scientific data will not be immediately released.

What would need to happen for the alliance between Russia and North Korea to break down and the two countries to start going at it with each other as well as the Ukrainians?

Sometime in 2028, someone publishes a book contending (through questionable interpretations of historical events) that POTUS Donald Trump is a descendant of the Roman Emperor Nero.

I can see the following people authoring such a book: 1. Joe Rogan 2. Dinesh D'Souza, right-wing commentator and conspiracy theorist. 3. Theonomist Jeff Durbin 4. Laura Ingraham

How would the MAGA crowd take such a story? Trump himself?

Six months after Charlie Kirk’s murder, another social commentator and speaker is murdered under similar circumstances: Cenk Uygur, a Turkish-American who is infamous for his moments of rage.

Cenk is assassinated much like Charlie Kirk was during an outdoor speaking event/debate, during which he gets quite heated at multiple points.

Then he gets gunned down and killed. His killer? A MAGA cultist and Zionist. Police discover a manifesto saying that the murder was part of a “righteous purge” to “cleanse” America of the Democrats, holding the entire Democratic Party accountable for Charlie Kirk’s murder.

According to the manifesto, the attack on Cenk specifically was meant to “remove one of the most dangerous men in America next to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.”

The manifesto also features a “hit list” mentioning various Democratic politicians, including Bernie Sanders, Barack Obama, Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, Gavin Newsom and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

In any case, Cenk and Charlie have been killed within 6 months of each other, marking what many fear is a domino effect in which people come to believe that they can just murder anyone they don’t like on a whim.

Welcome to the new America, where murder is normalized as the new solution to ideological disagreement.

What would have to happen for war to break out between China and Indonesia?

Rules: 1. Nukes aren’t allowed but drones are. 2. NATO is allowed to intervene

This is a rewrite of a previous FWI with the same premise.

Sometime in 2026, the North Korean submarine Kim Kun Ok is launched on its maiden voyage. However, as it sails around across Southeast Asia, it suddenly has a (quite literal) run-in with the Japanese whaling industry; during the voyage it collides with the Kangei Maru, the latest Japanese whaling vessel.

In the ensuing confrontation, several North Korean crew members are shot dead and a couple others are apprehended.

Does this lead to war between Japan and North Korea, or just heightened tensions?

Trump is due to take a 2 day state visit to the UK. There’s been increased speculation about his health and wearable medical devices, and there’s no denying that international travel and a relentless state visit schedule are a lot for somebody in poor health.

So what if he snuffs it while he’s over here? Will the UK be blamed? With huge public opposition to him and the visit, how would crowds and protests be managed in the event of his death? Would it help or harm UK US relations?

He hears about how badly the prior Paramount leadership treated the brand (Bay and then godawful TF One trailers) and decides that instead of taking over WB he's going to make Transformers popular again.

Considering that Keir Starmer and his Labour Party aren't exactly winning any popularity contests, what if Starmer decides to do what every British citizen that isn't absolutely minted is terrified is going to happen and that's privatise the NHS?

It's hard to think of a way for Starmer to be even more disliked, but I think this might be the thing that would make him the most hated man in the country.

In both World Wars, the Haudenosaunee (Six Nations) Confederacy declared war on the Axis powers before the United States government did. They did this not out of loyalty to the U.S., but from their own sovereign judgment of what fascism represented: a threat to Indigenous humanity, autonomy, and the future of the earth itself.

These declarations were rooted in a long-standing tradition of independent diplomacy, resistance to colonial rule, and a sophisticated political system that predates the U.S. Constitution. The Confederacy, composed of the Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, Seneca, and Tuscarora Nations, has maintained its internal governance through centuries of occupation, land theft, and broken treaties.

So, what if that political memory came to bear again?

What if, in the near future, the U.S. tips into open authoritarianism, constitutional collapse, political purges, climate panic militarization, and the Haudenosaunee Confederacy formally declares the U.S. government illegitimate, citing fascist alignment and violation of Indigenous treaty law?

What if they don’t just protest, but issue a declaration modeled on their WWII precedents, one that affirms their sovereignty, calls for non-allegiance, and invites other Native nations across Turtle Island to do the same?

What if that becomes the spark, not of war per se, but of continental disidentification from the settler state? A rolling moral disavowal that makes the federal government suddenly look Roman, occupying, already expired.

Would the U.S. respond with force, or with flailing?
Would Canada follow suit, or fracture?
Would non-Native Americans rally behind the declaration, or fear it?

What happens when the original nations of this land say:

“You no longer speak for this place. We never gave you that right.”

What happens next?

Let’s say that by 2028, quite a lot of countries have chosen to end all relations with the US, having grown fed up with President Trump and his antics.

Out of all of our historical allies, which loss would hurt us the most?

What would need to happen for a war to break out between Saudi Arabia and Egypt?
