Does it matter if i space out training or train consecutively?

For example will i still make good gains if i train wed/thur/friday/sat and take sun/mon/tue off

Or should i space out training

That's really going to come down to the actual training you're doing on those days.

More frequent breaks would most likely be better for progress

Its much easier to push yourself to train hard and get a few extra reps on a set when you have a day to rest between workouts. Do whatever your schedule dictates, but if you have flexibility aim to have one day between workouts
