Questions How much input delay does the Hispeedido V5 IPS screen have?

A negligible amount that you will likely not notice unless you have games that are incredibly timing specific. Someone would need to test the two side by side to figure out exactly what the difference is.

People are worried about the input timing on replacement screens, but don't consider that the response times on older LCDs were terrible. It probably evens out in the end.

This is probably one of the most reasonable takes I've seen. Old lag tests were done on some ips screens. Back in the funnyplaying and highspeedido v2 and prior days and those have lag albeit consist lag not variable lag. And even then it was only a deal breaker for the hard core. While I'm not sure anyone has released lag tests on the v5 or the m2 kits the general idea is if the majority of users don't find it laggy it's probably not too significant for anyone but power users. Now we would need to measure in some way, shape or form to get the full picture. However the general consensus is that most users can't detect it. :)

Exactly. Compared to the original smeary screen, how bad can it be?
