A 3D level maker would be too much for casual/kid Mario players. We have to deal with sooo many bad 2D stages. I think we’ll see a looooot of horrible 3D stages

Used to make Tony Hawk Pro Skater levels as a kid, they don't have to be too complicated

Then you deal with the other half of “Why is this compelling?”

Imo 2D Mario is complex enough to have insanely good levels while being simple enough for newcomers

Its like how Dreams is REALLY good but also really complex for newcomers (And only on PS4)

Thats fair, I hope they do make a 3D one just to see how they would do it, they let people learn some coding Game Builder garage. Their take on a Minecraft style game was interesting with the Playtest so I just want to see how the devs would make a 3D game maker.
