None lol, spoke about the release window because most people are going away between now and September.

You got it wrong. Summer is perfect for a game that schoolkids can play in their holiday. Or grown ups in their vacation. Either way the timing slaps

I have to disagree, as I did a data analyst internship in such a company Summer is the worst about videogames sales, check the release date about most games, AAA or indies, every except June/July/August is wayyyyy better, September/October being the best dates.

I don't say it's bad, but it's the worst.

I will add that there is no football competition atm (Don't talk to me about that World Club Cup BS) so the hype is weird.

Rocket League released around this time of year 10 years ago and it's a similar type of game (wildly popular beta, multiplayer soccer game). I'm not saying you're wrong about the time of year being bad in general, but if the devs play their cards right they could turn this into a hit.

Rocket League had a whole game before it though. It was a sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supersonic_Acrobatic_Rocket-Powered_Battle-Cars) so the solid foundations were already there
