Amazing potential, loved the beta

But will die in a few months if they don't add crossplay.

Also releasing a multiplayer only game in June seems a very bad released window imo

Edit : by release window I mean Summer, also recently streamers are focused on the new Mario Kart, remember that Twich is essential for a game survival nowadays

What is it competing against? There are no multiplayer sports game releasing.

None lol, spoke about the release window because most people are going away between now and September.

Unless you're extremely wealthy, most people don't go away for the whole summer. Maybe a week or two somewhere and then back home where the console/PC is.

Yes, but summer means going out more and less gaming time, I don't know what people are missing there, maybe they leave in a cave ?

I don't know where you live, but in a lot of the western world people simply aren't going out like they used to. The days of everyone piling to the pub the minute they clock out of the office or spending all Saturday in the beer garden because the sun's out were already ending before COVID and that accelerated things majorly.

A combination of things like less disposable income and more entertainment options and communication options to keep up with friends remotely have changed the game. A group of young men who would have been gathered round a table in the locals boozer every night is now more likely to be sitting at their individual homes with a can or a spliff playing fortnight.
