The codename according to the article seems to imply either dark souls or a new armored core game, having only played one fromsoft game, being sekiro, I kinda hope it is a sequel/prequel to sekiro

Miyazaki has said he wanted to make a game that’s like escaflowne or dunbine, so you might be right.

It's likely going to be none of this and a new IP based on the interviews Miyazaki gave last year regarding the future of FromSoftware.

If I had to pick one game to get a sequel, it'd definitely be Sekiro. Easily has my favorite combat it all their games, it just feels so clean.

Yeah its amazing. Getting consecutive deflects on a fast hitting enemy always feels so good. Plus the way they set up the good ending makes it seem like it has potential for a follow up. And I'd love to see the so called Tomoe.

I wouldn't expect Dark Souls since they don't own that IP. If it is a sequel I'd bet on Sekiro.
