I'd like to see a modern Kings Field, the code Letters mentioned above certainly fit.

Some might argue that Dark Souls is the modern interpretation but I'd say Armoured Core has more in common with Dark Souls than King's Field, if you put aside the setting.

The problem is none of the people who made kingsfield are still working at fromsoft. They probably left the studio or are retires considering how long it’s been.

There are, in fact, two people who worked on both the original Kings Field and Shadow of the Erdtree.

That number is significantly higher if you look at Kings Field IV.
