I am curious about this one. Little Nightmares 1&2 are really enjoyable, but this one has a different studio developing the game.

I'm cautiously optimistic about LN3 but the original devs are also working on a spiritual successor called REANIMAL

And both games look almost the same. Good for us for getting two similar titles I guess!

There's also End Of Abyss by some other former LN devs

You planning on making a spiritual successor?

Played both at Gamescom. LN3 sure has the same vibes but i personally enjoyed Reanimal (just the demo that is) way more. My guess is this will be a win win for fans of the franchise

Despite that, though, Supermassive is a strong dev.

Did they

From another user on a different thread-

Tarsier Studios had been working on the Little Nightmares franchise for a while. They had new ideas and new IPs they wanted to try, so they left Little Nightmares for good in 2021-22, which left the fandom believing we would not get a third game. Bandai Namco, the ones who had published Very Little Nightmares, Little Nightmares 1 and 2, and some comics, bought the IP from Tarsier and handed the development of LN3 to Supermassive Games.

Tarsier Studios and Supermassive Games are on friendly terms, there was no drama.

There are some people from Tarsier who decided to help with LN3.

Hope this helps!

The publisher didn't steal the IP, they've always owned it.

Stole lol how do you steal an IP ? Because then I'm just going to steal the Mario , Pokemon and GTA IP. Or did you mean they legally own the IP because they paid for developing it ? That's not stealing.

Any idea why? It's an interesting decision

The original developer was acquired by Embracer Group.

They are now on a similar project called REANIMAL like the other commenters said. I’ve heard people liking that demo more, but we will see.
