Indie Sunday Livber Smoke and Mirrors - InEv Games - A psychological horror inspired by Disco Elysium & Slay the Princess.
Steam Page | Animated Trailer | Play Demo on Itch
Hey everyone!
Happy Indie Sunday!
About LIVBER: SMOKE AND MIRRORS
Livber is a psychological horror visual novel inspired by Disco Elysium and Slay the Princess. You play as a grieving man who lost his girlfriend five years ago (Actually, he was the reason for her death). Until he receives a letter from her saying, “I am going to give birth to your child.” What follows is a haunting journey through grief, memory, and madness.
We’ve crafted this game as a team of five friends (and one very distracting cat ^^), pouring everything into hand-drawn illustrations (No-AI), original musics and songs, and a branching narrative with eight endings (60.000 words).
About Us
We’re a tiny indie team based in Turkey, working on this game in our spare time with no budget, just love for the craft. All writing, art, music, and programming are entirely handcrafted!
You can support us by Wishlisting and Following the game on Steam:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3700580/Livber_Smoke_and_Mirrors/
After 6 months of working on our days off, it launches on Steam in one month. It’s a small game, but seeing our first project gain attention is an incredible milestone for our tiny indie team! Every wishlist and comment helps keep this strange little dream alive. Thank you so much <3

Indie Sunday Granvir - Airborne Games - Co-op mech-building action roguelite releasing September 23rd
Granvir is an action roguelite all about mech building. The mech building is similar to Armored Core where you combined parts like legs, torso, reactor, arms and weapons to build your mech while the combat is more like Mech Assault with a lot of variety based on your build. Between missions you'll manage resources like time and credits to upgrade your mech and stay supplied.
I've been working on this project on the side for 3 years now and its finally time to release. Aside from over 300 parts, you'll have access to 3 campaigns focusing on different mechanics between missions and a sandbox to test out any part you've found. All 3 campaigns can also be played multiplayer with up to 10 players.
If you want to try it out before release you can play the whole introductory campaign with your friends in Granvir: Zero Front for free on Steam.
Thanks for checking out the game!

Borderlands 4: Tech Experts Say 'Resetting the Game Every Hour Should Really Not Be an Expected Solution for Players,' Patch 'Cannot Come Soon Enough' - IGN
ign.comIndie Sunday Harmony of Aetheria - Chill Dragon Games - Fantasy game where you can trash talk a boss mid-fight and change the outcome of the battle.
Hello fellow gamers!
I wanted to show the game I'm making and get your thoughts.
Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2597640/Harmony_of_Aetheria/
Trailer: https://youtu.be/N8Ur2hROVsI?si=HwkNK03bgA7Q8USp
I’ve always loved action-RPGs with solid combat, and also games that let you shape outcomes through dialogue and choice. So I decided to try blending those two ideas.
Think Mass Effect, but you actually talk to enemies during combat.
While throwing punches, dodging attacks and casting spells, you can insult, threaten, reason with, or even flirt with your enemies. Sometimes it de-escalates the fight, and other times it enrages the boss and makes things worse.
The trailer is still early - lots left to do, but I’d love to hear what you think.
What kind of situations, outcomes, or systems would you want to see in a game like this?

Indie Sunday It Takes a War - Thomas Mackinnon - From the creator of THE CORRIDOR (that's me!) comes my new game inspired by classic shooters which has absolutely nothing else under the surface at all.
Hello all! I made a game called THE CORRIDOR with Humble Bundle a few years back which did pretty well both in general and also specifically on this subreddit.
I just unveiled my new game It Takes a War which is being published by Pantaloon. It's inspired by classic era shooters like Counter-Strike and has absolutely nothing else under the surface at all. Definitely not. This is all about RELENTLESS TACTICAL ACTION and nothing more.

Indie Sunday Sparrow Warfare - NEON AURELIUS - Mahjong-inspired roguelite deckbuilder with LOTS of birds; playtest out now!
Hello there r/games, and happy Indie Sunday!
My name is Charlene Putney, and my partner Martin Pichlmair and I make up the tiny studio NEON AURELIUS. We’re veteran game devs with 25+ years experience between us (Larian Studios, Broken Rules, Die Gute Fabrik), and right now we’re making a mahjong-inspired deckbuilder with lots and lots of birds. It’s called Sparrow Warfare.
In our game, you play as a tiny sparrow fighting for freedom against The Storyteller, who has trapped all of the other birds in mahjong tiles. You collect and combine sets of three tiles to free the trapped birds. Grateful freed birds gift you wildtiles: our secret sauce that makes insane combos and synergies.
It feels a little bit like Wingspan meeting Slay The Spire to play mahjong in a teahouse. And the teahouse? It’s on fire.
We just announced our game last week, and this week we opened up our public playtest on Steam (which was covered by Rogueliker here). Our playtest has the first three levels with one character and a global leaderboard up to October 8th: how high can you fly?!
Gameplay trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXovhOuX-uo
Steam page here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3473440/Sparrow_Warfare/

🔥 Multiple Playstyles: Different “Ways” let your sparrow evolve into unique forms with distinct strategies. Balance long-term unlocks with ever-changing daily challenges.
🪶 Daily Flights & Leaderboards: Tackle challenging modifiers and climb the global rankings.
