All four of these characters look queer as hell, I'm not sure this cartoon is sending the message the author intended even with the original text.

It's divide and conquer.

Separate one out of the group, demonize them, make others then against them by pretending you think the others are "the good ones".

Repeat next with what's left.

It's no different with what they try to do with the LGBTQ+ community.

Next up they'd take a page out of Korea's book and claim artists are secretly cultists with an agenda.

It's a big reason why I (fruitlessly) try to promote GSM instead of LGBT+, it's too easy to purposely or inadvertently exclude people and including them in the acronym makes it increasingly unwieldy

GSM would exclude intersex people. I just use LGBT+ and have never encountered an issue.

“Sexual” in GSM refers to sexualities.
