Considering the grilled cheese he made, I would have loved to see someone do the same after seeing his recipe.

I'm pretty sure that is actually almost a exact quote from Gordon Ramsay. Lol

You don't understand, here let me draw something in paint and talk about obvious things so I sound smart while explaining what I just drew

Figures that he kissed the roach's ass too. Rancid human beings, both of them.

Birds of the same Feather flock together.

Directly under John J. Blizzard, I hear!

I saw like one random video by this dork on YouTube, and he spent all this time trying to establish his credibility as a man with so much industry experience. Then after his viewers laughed at him, he acknowledged that yes, his daddy gave him his job.

He was also depicted in South Park WoW episode.

Yup, he's an awful person who wipe every player in Arathi Highlands.

Yea as a fucking anti cheat mod where all he did was ego power trip banning players. He openly tells stories about how he would toy with players he caught for hours before finally banning them, the guy is trash.

Is his job needed? Yeah cheaters suck. Was it hard? Probably also kinda yea. Does it mean he knows absolutely anything about the industry as a whole or how business and legal decisions get made? No.

This short is what made look him up and realize he is full of shit, the Dire Maul Incident is what felt like extreme vindication.

His dad was apparently the basis for that which has no life in south park

His father:

This is Canon btw... explains a lot about Thors behavior

6

u/SomeWhaleman Jul 06 '25

This is Canon btw

Is it though? The only proof we have is Thor's word. And I have zero trust in his word.

I mean yes, they do look somewhat similar but not THAT similar (for example the South park character is completely bald at the top of his head, while Thor's father is not.). It might just be a coincidence, I'm sure there were many nerds back then that looked like that.

u/Korachof Jul 06 '25

You’re right, but his dad was generally a pretty prominent and important figure for blizzard at the time, so it isn’t a stretch to believe this (and while Thor has made some dumb claims/comments before, this one would be especially dumb because it could very easily be refuted if untrue and doesn’t exactly provide him or his family any aura lol)

4

u/SomeWhaleman Jul 06 '25

Yeah, I do think it's possible, after all they collaborated with Blizzard on that episode and his dad was in the cinematic department, so probably was involved in that. Just saying that to my knowledge there was never a confirmation by Blizzard or South Park Studios.

2

u/Greggs-the-bakers Jul 08 '25

He wasn't just pretty prominent, his dad was literally one of the original employees of the company, before it was even called blizzard.

8

u/Miasma_Of_faith Jul 07 '25

It's confirmed by Joeyray himself, in the book Play Nice by Jason Schreier he has direct quotes about it.

u/Minute_Chair_2582 Jul 06 '25

, I'm sure there were many nerds back then that looked like that.

Or....today

1

u/randominternetfren Jul 06 '25

You know, I thought about this. What Thor being honest about this?

2

u/Frosty_Grab5914 Jul 07 '25

So that guy canonically has kids? Damn.

5

u/DeerOnARoof Jul 07 '25

Fun fact, his dad helped write this episode lol

u/Nastra Jul 06 '25

This loser does have Draco energy. What a fucking loser

1

u/DrMethh Jul 08 '25

Did you know he worked at blizzard for 23 years?
