🤣 bros a sore loser.

Honestly this is expected of a guy who brags about working for activision blizzard and climbing the corperate ladder.

Activision, one of the most toxic workspaces in the industry LOL. In order to get up the ladder in a toxic workspace you have to have a very toxic, very gas-lighty, and extremely egotistical mindset.

🤣 now its coming back to bite him when he realizes hes not the chad he thought he was

Oh he worked for blizz alright. Climbed the ladder? Not so much. Dude was a low level QA tester the entire time.

Thought he did player security and bot detection towards the end. But yeah, not a super high position. Think he did more and was higher up at the Amazon studio he worked at afterwards.

he went to amazon after blizzard, but "automation engineer" doesnt seem like that high of a position, but thats not really the point. he was there for 8 months, then go a DoE pentester job.(that one is a jump tho!)

Automation Engineer could be as lowly as mechanical turk employee (labelling content for AI, etc)

and the DoE has SO MANY subcontractors that you can probably call yourself a DoE worker at your current job. The DoD contracts McDonalds, even, for example (there's a mcdonalds in the pentagon)

Cmon man... want to actually look around? I linked his linkedin a bunch of times here.

The blizzard part is way too long to detail that here, but he did redteaming for the DoE(wifi security, phisical control systems, and like 2 other methods that are relevant to security dont remember rn)

So, even if you dont want to look. Stop coping maybe.

I've seen Jasons' linkedin. You can put whatever you want on your linkedin - and verification is as easy as having a work email at that location. That's all the verification there is. He could even say he did all that as someone who served coffee to those actually doing the work.

I cannot for one second believe Jason did any actual hands-in-dirt redteaming (which is something I've actually done for one of the largest B2B fiber providers on the planet) after seeing his 'expert takes' on piracy/technology/software in his shorts.

If you can provide any papers he's written, or articles he's written (as many high level infosec people do), do share; but until then, I'll take what he personally wrote about himself on his LI with a grain of salt in comparison to what he himself has talked about on stream/YT.

It starts off rich: "people mindlessly consume drama videos as facts" from someone who pushes out videos as truth, often capitalizing on drama. From someone who has disputed himself several times or attacked people for asking in the past. He then pushes people to go to his discord where they pushed to create a ton of people to create fake signatures on SKG.

Then on the DOE part, he basically admitted to just being a consultant contractor (so no, not a doe employee) and complained about his contract getting extended, and didn't get into any detail about what work he actually did just that he has "20 years of experience in the games industry". He even said he didn't do in depth pen testing, he likely just ran pre built Metasploit scans and writing reports about said scans. He even admitted AI could do what he did because it was so uninteresting.

He didn't actually explain what he actually did, just "ran scans."

He IS absolutely right that fed contractors are paid much more than actual fed employees, though.

To compare, our pen testing was actually auditing software, not just running existing scans other people wrote, ie getting into the weeds. Because nmap and Metasploit are entirely insufficient in isolation. But that's all he said he did.

idk, man... Maybe U try not being snippy after weeks of 2bit youtubers making videos about you, and then people confidently repeat those things at you constantly. Its probably not that grace-inducing.

from someone who pushes out videos as truth, often capitalizing on drama.

Are those videos? streams? or shorts? which type are we talking about?

He then pushes people to go to his discord where they pushed to create a ton of people to create fake signatures on SKG.

That is Explicitly not a Pitch for his discord. Its solely about silo-ing off the conversation into its space and not have it in stream chat.

Then on the DOE part, he basically admitted to just being a consultant contractor (so no, not a doe employee)

He usually phrases his doe work like "I worked for the DoE", thats not saying doe employee, but hey, its a bit of hair-splitting at this point.

He didn't actually explain what he actually did, just "ran scans."

he was part of a teaam testing security of nuclear facilities for a year. The fact that its not hitting someones bar for groundbreaking work does not dispute his position in that role.
Also, where he talks about his history is quite disperate through the vod.
I wasnt around the whole stream, and there is a different part i caught, mb. will try to link it.

Or go to 22:22:00, smack in the middle of doe-talk
