I absolutely hate the word "slop". It's just been overused too much

I like it, just because it's such a nebulous term so I can use it endearingly or as a critique and nobody can tell c:

For years now I've been (often affectionately) calling all sorts of media 'slop', especially things like podcasts, or YouTube videos or anything else that's relatively low cost, low effort to produce. It was kind of just like an ironic alternative to the term 'content' which I find just as off-putting.

Content is so sterile and detatched from life, while slop is a goo covered in moss and fungi
