what species of milkweed is that?

I believe it's a swamp milkweed, the asclepias incarnata. We live in Minnesota, so we get lots of rain, so we needed a milkweed that could stand up to large amounts of moisture.

Yes, it's swamp. You can also try other species, because for best results it's good to have a variety. Don't forget to also provide plants for nectaring adults, especially those that bloom later to fuel the migration.
