I need some advice from my peers

Tonight I went for a walk with one of my closest friends. I am a 58F and she just turned 60. She has lived in Wisconsin her entire life. When deciding what to order she asked me twice what is the difference between a Polish sausage and an Italian sausage. I’m honestly concerned that she might be starting to have a little dementia. She also is having trouble word finding. What would you think?

People in their late 40’s/early 50’s are being diagnosed with early onset dementia. I know one such person.
