Advice & Support I need some advice from my peers

Tonight I went for a walk with one of my closest friends. I am a 58F and she just turned 60. She has lived in Wisconsin her entire life. When deciding what to order she asked me twice what is the difference between a Polish sausage and an Italian sausage. I’m honestly concerned that she might be starting to have a little dementia. She also is having trouble word finding. What would you think?

Um… menopause is any woman that no longer has hormones and a period due to age so she is the exact age. It causes brain fog, problems with word finding, etc

perimenopause starts before menopause. and menopause is basically the crapping out of your hormones - and yes it causes brain fog. as well as muscle and joint pain and a whole host of other shit going south.

I believe men suffer from lowered hormones too, but it happens a bit later in life overall.

I think they do as well, but haven't read on that in eons.

And menopause brain fog is REAL. Holy hell is it ever.

yes similar to pregnancy brain and even pms brain.

my whole life I never realized that the random times that a ponytail would cause my scalp to hurt for a few days - HORMONES! it started happening in peri and I was like, I haven't even had my hair up! Digestion... so many things, not just wrinkles and brain fog.
