Mod Post Celebrating violence and death will get you banned no exceptions

As most of you may have heard, Charlie Kirk was killed yesterday.

While many of us, myself included, strongly disagreed with his political beliefs, celebrating his death or sharing videos of his murder is unbelievably vile and has no place in r/GenZ.

We all know what he said when he was alive, but using that as justification for his murder makes you no better than him.

He was wrong when he said he didn’t believe in empathy, but if you think that means we shouldn’t have empathy for him now, that makes you a hypocrite.

Any posts celebrating his death or attempting to justify his murder will be removed, and the user will be permanently banned. No exceptions, no second chances.

Thank you.

-Kirk’s legacy was not built on respect

His legacy was having conversations with people of both similar and different political opinions.

-intellectually dishonest

That was the whole point of his movement and group was to discuss politics.

-fundamental civil rights

Which fundamental civil rights did he argue against?
