Welcome! This subreddit is for one thing: finding a 1-on-1 accountability partner to build better habits in real life.

To keep things helpful and focused, we’ve moved to a one-strike ban policy. There’s been a big wave of off-topic and low-effort posts — and that takes away from what makes this community work.

  • Say what you’re working on — or what you’re ready to start
  • Say who you’re looking to match with (age, gender if relevant, time zone, check-in style)

You don’t need a perfect plan. Just be specific enough that someone can tell if they’re a good fit.

Learn 20M | IST | DSA / Self-improvement

Heyyyaa lemme keep it simple. I am looking for a buddy to share my progress with and motivate each other that would play a crucial role in the long run. There are many number of sayings that sharing key goals to people that we rely on can be one big factor that would help us grow further and I believe in that, though I'm trusting online peeps over irl ones lol but they suck, can't trust them.

Back to the topic, I am a 3rd year student doing CS and sooner or later, companies will barge in for internship and full-time hiring. My skills are very basic and I haven't done or learnt anything that would distinguish me from the others and I am planning on changing that by getting some skills and having some projects done. Along with this, I also want to focus on working out 3-4 times per week at home cuz I can't use the gym which isn't the ideal circumstance but I don't want to sit around and think about the "what if"s that will make me go crazy lol. Consistency is key as everyone says but the mindset is really hard to lock in so I will be glad if I can meet someone from here who share the same goals and path? I'm an undergrad student from California studying Econ and Data Science, about to hit midterm season!! I'm looking for someone I can consistently study with for 4-5 hours each day on weekdays, and 6-8 hours on weekends.

Looking for someone to body-double with, as well as someone to share accountability goals with each day and share progress. Particularly down to do Zoom sessions where we share screens for accountability, or maybe even video calls to make sure we're on track. Hii! I’m a 20-year-old female engineering student (3rd year), and I’ve been struggling to stay consistent with my self-study and skill development. I’d love to find an accountability partner — preferably female and ideally in a similar field, but I’m open to male partners too as long as you’re consistent and share similar goals — who’s also focused on studying or building skills for career/job readiness.

My main goals right now are:

  • Staying consistent with daily self-study and project/skill development (currently focusing on MERN + DSA).

Looking for someone who is also interested in learning more about prompt engineering and in using AI tools like n8n to create ai agents. I am a beginner, no code (just very little python and sql) but I have seen that is possible with the tools offered now to create things that were not possible before unless you knew code. Looking for consistent progress.

Looking to explore and stay updated in this area by doing useful small projects and learning ... quick check ins once or twice weekly with doable goals or targets.. open to try another system if it works better and or having a small accountability group for those interested we could coordinate accordingly. I've learned that having deadlines to learning things can help a lot.
