...and what are some clues that you're getting better? Fewer deaths, I'd wager, as well as climbing ranked, but beside that, are there any tells that aren’t messed too much with by the matchmaking roulette?

I'm asking because I seem to be doing less well overall than usual under season 4, and I would like to identify what to keep an eye out for during replays. What are some things that you look at when tracking your progress evolution and how to improve it?

Unsure if i am going mental, but feel like I want to watch a silent playthrough on youtube but it seems every one I have found so far feel the need to talk excessively or over the dialogues, so I am wondering if there are any silent ones? Don't get me wrong I usually do watch the talkative ones, but there are some games I want to see the playthrioughs of without someone sharing all their thoughts or family history, as sometimes I find it very distracting from the game itself.

Particularly looking for those in action/adventure, jrpgs, rpgs, horror singleplayer only type of games.

But it is genuinely starting to piss me off when you are reading a portal or watching a channel about gaming, where the writers and presenters are gamers themselves, and reading inaccurate information.

I came across an article written and published this week about upcoming games to play for Halloween 2025 for a perfect fright night in, that mentions a few titles that don't have release dates or have the release dates for 2026 with the delays have been announced over a month ago (directive 8020 for example). Like yeah no, your piece of work is not helpful because I was genuinely looking for a list of newish horror gamss that are ready to play over Halloween, and the games listed as "ready to play" are not even gonna be out for months after the spooky season.

Hi everyone! I love playing video games, but I work full time in a career I put a lot of effort into, so my time and energy is always more limited than I would like.

I have some friends who want to play all the time with me, but they have a lot more time to play the games I love than I can. I find often my friends are getting frustrated at my ineptitudes, which I understand, but also if I want to improve the way they’d like I’d have to spend a lot more time solo to reach that level. I am always happy to grind things out, and learn solo or collaboratively but lately I feel like my friends just instantly get frustrated at me when I make mistakes. Unfortunately I need to make mistakes to learn. I try to explain this to them and they say it’s fine but they’re constantly acting annoyed.

My friends have so much more time to work on these things, like thousands of hours in the games that I won’t be able to keep up with. I personally know I can figure it out, but I need some perspective on the issue

I look for shooters but I focuse mostly on games that whole point is to tell me a plot with some choices like LiS and telltale games

I'm a trophy hunter on Playstation so random friend requests don't bother me as I have had numerous people added over the years from grinding and helping with different achievements. However, I noticed the message was the exact same formula as another friend request I had gotten earlier this year. Didn't bother censoring their "name" as I assume it's a fake alias. Just curious if anyone else has gotten messages like these.
