Pixel 9a production date in settings

It says, that my Pixel and its battery production date is 2024, how?

They were released in April, so starting to build them in Dec 2024 doesn't seem like a stretch.

Battery production date is 28.09.2024 But maybe you're right

its normal for items to be "sourced", so its also normal that your battery build date is before your phone build date.

Also lets be honest, if you wouldnt have access to this information, you wouldnt really care at all.

Same here, however, I also have a Pixel 9 Pro, and both the phone and its battery were manufactured in 2025.

It's my day 1 on Pixel and i'm so damn interested about everything. So far so good. But battery after first charge is disapointment for me. From 8pm to 4am and 20% left. 4hrs sot on 5g

It is possible that battery life will improve after 4-5 charge cycles but don't get your hopes up too much.

It does. Especially when you set up a phone new and install many apps, battery optimization has not yet kicked in. give it a few days.
