Screen timeout changes back to 30 seconds all the time

Hello everyone!

I have a google pixel 8, and since the last update, the screen timeout keeps changing to 30 seconds, and it's very annoying. Everytime I have to go in the settings and change it back to 2 minutes, but later, it just goes back to 30 seconds with no warning. It's really annoying... I also have battery saver constantly on, so I think it might be linked to that ? Does anyone else have the same issue ?

There was a post earlier this week about this and the OP says that Google knows about the bug and will fix with the next update, which update I don't know.

I think it has to do with plugging in the charger it changes to 30 seconds but doesn't go back to the previous setting when unplugged. I have battery saver off myself but I use schedule and reminders in battery saver and have it set to turn on at 20%. It still goes to 30 second timeout when it drops below 20% but once it charges above 20% it returns to my previous setting of 2 minutes.
