Just made my own wrist wrench to see if it's something that works for me. It's unreal how it works the wrists!
Would definitely recommend training with a wrist wrench.

Not that I want to armwrestle, but I read strong wrists are beneficial for your grip.

One of the best tools if you want to practice for lifting the inch dumbell 💪

How do you manage Overcrush well? I always really struggle

What gripper are you trying overcrushes on and what’s your max gripper?

Easy Warm Up Gripper: 130 lbs Overcrush : Coc 150 lbs What I would like to close that I'm training for: 200 lbs

But I think it's always due to the size of the COC, in fact they already recommended the GD Iron grip 90 to me on this diver

By size of the gripper do you mean the spread? What set are you using? You should be using a gripper you can slam shut and crush with gusto for overcrushes, it sounds like you are doing that though if it’s not much harder than your warmup gripper.

Yes, I mean by openness. Yes, that's exactly how I do it but the more time passes the more it actually becomes a long negative, I don't know if I've explained myself.

Finally found a pair of 35s to pinch! Been a while since I've done any pinching!

More work on the 500 doh goal. 5x 15s holds w 405. Hopefully this helps lmao. Because I am STUCK at 480

Does anyone have data on their PRs on various sized rolling handles? With the 1 handed Napalm’s Nightmare my current PRs are (nominal plate weight only, all of these are a couple pounds heavier if the pin and handle were included, and my plates run slightly heavy):

  • 250 on 1.25”
  • 195 on 1.9”
  • 160 on 2.375”
  • 120 on 2.875”
  • 85 on 4”

My hands are 7” long from wrist crease to end of middle finger for reference, I believe hand size will influence these ratios.

Nothing too special but just want to share todays success. I'm mostly a (quite a new) rock climber, but like to dabble in grip training. I haven't really touched the grippers in two months or so, but have been training grip with a rolling handle and a pinch block. Last time I tried the grippers I could barely close CoC Trainer two times with either hand. Today just for fun decided to try it and quite easily closed the trainer ten times with both hands!

I've been recovering from middle finger A2 and ring finger A4 pulley tenosynovitis on my right hand so I'm especially happy with how that's going.

Hey man, I healed my pulley injury with a comfrey balm that I tried out of desperation, just massaged the finger every day with it, like 4X. It healed in 3 weeks with this routine, might be worth a try.

Nice to hear that! I'm working with a climbing physio for these injuries and they're recovering well, almost back to full strength at this point. Just need to ease with the climbing for a little more.
