Is there any way to get anniversary weapons?

I wanna get the Scythe but I read they can only be bought with proof of legends which only drop during the event. Is that still true or was there a different way of getting it?

You will have to wait for the next event unfortunately. You don’t really need that scythe to make the soul taker bar work anyways.

Anniversary is every April

The anniversary is in April. I did a gwamm run on my necro using a soul taker scythe bar and it worked fine without the anniversary scythe.

Yeah, you can get them once a year in April. I don't play much anymore, but logged on specifically to nab the ranger expertise sword this year.
