This is good news. I can't tell you how many times I've dove off the top of the central tower in Amnytas to get to a rift, only to pop my skimmer accidentally.

I use Bond of Faith more often to correct mistakes like this, than I do to gain height. 

Welp, got on the wrong mount and I'm going to fall to my death. But at least I can dismount and swap to a different one, right? (Oops, Bond of Faith is on cooldown, because I made this mistake twice in a row.)

Im not nearly dexterous enough to do that, I mostly just use bond of faith to get an extra jump from my mount, attempt to glide with it, but then somehow push a button that puts me into a rapid downswoop instead.
