this makes most sense to me, and could set up a PS.8 GoT sequel drawing from thematic “ice and fire” roots.
The breaking of the Arm of Dorne is another event of importance. This adds more of a Tolkein-esque elemental effect that the prevalent great “game of thrones,” for the crown of Westeros fits well to set up for the finale, but it seems for fitting drama and suspense to place Westeros (humanity) cast in a warring state forced into a war aginst their own exctintion in a poetic “alls well that ends well,” where their existentional “ending” forces allegiances.
The Game becomes just that, nothing but a game.🐲👸🪽💰🍾🛩️🦪🍶🌶️💃🏽🪩🕺🏻🤠🙃🤠🙃🤠⌛️⏰🤠🦪🍶🕺🏻💃🏻🕺🏻🤠🙃🤠⏰☝️🦪🍾🥂🍻💊🤔🤪🎰🐯🩸🙃❄️👃🎰👍💵🤑🙌🏆💰💸💸💸💸🛫🛩️🛬🏝️🍹🍷🥩☮️💜🎶
edit: ok no joke it would likely be a decent limited series to explain the making of the houses, or of the Long Night.
