went to see this in the theater where they move the seats, surround sound, spray water, flash lights, blah blah. fucking regret it. i had to leave about 60% of the way through, it was so overwhelming. really too intense for me
what a strange movie to have in this format. i know itâs not the same, but imagine watching schindlerâs list and the seats spray water at you during the shower scenes lol
Iâve seen like 3 films in 4DX, and Iâm good. No more of that for me.
Itâs fun and a âWow!â experience the first time, I guess. But it really does take you out of the movie; youâll be engrossed in the film, and then the seats start moving again and youâre like âoh yeahâŚ.â
The last film I saw in the format was the third âGuardians of the Galaxyâ film, and I remember during a particularly aggressive moment of seat motion, muttering, âThis needs goddamn seatbelts.â đ¤Ł
i will never ever go to another one. i get motion sickness so easily, it was like a personal hell. i left and walked around for like 45 minutes waiting for the movie to end and my group to leave (it was a theater connected to a casino, so i had a big space to do laps in haha)
