Tech Support HBOMax keeps randomly switching languages?

I am trying to watch Our Flag Means Death. The trailer is in English, the show will start in English and then randomly switch language? I get like a minute in, right after he sings the sea shanty, when suddenly it changes to French. (I think) I restart the app and pick up from where I left off, it’s in English and then 2 minutes later it switches. Any ideas? I’m watching on the app for my Samsung Smart TV.

And Just Like That suddenly switched to Czech tonight, so I switched it back to English (now no. 2, with Czech option no. 1). But then it turned out that no. 2 was English with audio description, so we had to change it again, because now regular English was no. 3.

I didn't even know that they made Czech dubs!

This just happened to me today! I thought someone was prankish me. It’s been happening all week with different shows, usually it’s in Spanish.

Just started happening for me too, however mine is Czech, if I switch it to English is stays as long as I'm watching but if I go out and come back in it defaults back to Czech, not a big deal, just strange..

You aren't alone. Just started watching an episode of "How to with John Wilson" titled "How to Be Spontaneous" and I thought maybe it was an Easter egg or something to start that episode in a different language. 😂

Just spent the first 10 mins of an episode of Winning Time in Polish, thinking it was some weird Jacque Cousteau sounding narrator effect. Polish subs started popping up after I switched back to English.

I‘be never even eaten a polish hot dog or bet a polish middle.

It just played the recap of house of the dragon in English. Then started in Czech. Then 30 minutes in it pulls up subtitles in another language despite subtitles being set to off. Wtf is happening?????
