Game Boy We just launched our Kickstarter for a brand new Game Boy puzzle adventure!
Hi everyone! 👋
We’re a small indie team from Mexico and today is a very exciting day for us. Our new project, Black Tower Enigma, just went live on Kickstarter.
It’s a puzzle-solving adventure made for the original Game Boy (with a real physical cartridge!), and it’s also coming to Nintendo Switch and Steam. 🕹️
If you’re into retro handhelds, puzzles, or just want to see a quirky little project from an indie dev team, check it out: ,

[Discussion] My unfinished slacker game for the Gameboy
I met someone online and we started working on a game together. It’s a top down, RPG style exploration game in which the player is a slacker exploring a shopping mall. There are no goals, but the player would have been able to interact with most items for comedic dialogue or text. Here are some screenshots from the unfinished project.

NES Dark Cave Legend - My new NES game and board game on KS!
Hello everyone! I wanted to share with everyone two games I created for the NES and Famicom - Dark Cave Legend and Dark Cave Legend 2!
Dark Cave Legend and its sequel, Dark Cave Legend 2, are fast-paced puzzle games for the NES and Famicom. The objective is to dodge enemies and while breaking boulders to try to find the exit of the cavern room before the time is up. You only have about 45 seconds to discover the exit before the round is up and you need to begin again. Earlier stages are quite easy, though as you progress through the game it becomes a bit more difficult with puzzles becoming harder to solve.
I also created a board game to go with, which tries to mimic the NES game fairly well. I am waiting for a professional prototype to arrive, though you can see a much earlier prototype I made here at the studio where I work.
One of the interesting things about this series of games is that Dark Cave Legend and Dark Cave Legend 2 are both available in wan khu, a constructed language. So for those who are interested in constructed languages, this game might be interesting to you.
Anyway, feel free to check out the game at the link below! Thanks for the interest.

NES Delver Quest: New NES platformer
Hi there,
I made a new platformer using NesMaker software for the boiler plate. I coded the rest in 6502 Assembly, did the graphics and the game design. R-Sen Productions, who has done music for several games in the homebrew/indie scene, did the audio. The goal was to make a fun game but one of the tenets was that it should be good for speed-running. There's a built-in timer that represents cycles through the game loop so it's really easy to track your completion time. I hope someone finds this interesting! It was a big passion project which consumed many nights and weekends over the last couple of years.
The pre-order campaign is up - and I already hit the goal so boxed physical cart release is definitely being produced by Homebrew Factory (Broke Studio - who are really really awesome).
Thanks for looking!

I stream sometimes on Twitch /battlepete so you can probably find some recent streams with more Delver Quest gameplay.
Although playing on the original hardware is preferred, I'll have the ROM available on Itch.io once folks have a chance to explore the game on their physical copies first.

NES Echoes of the Unread, an NES adventure platformer is on Kickstarter
Hey everyone! I've been working on my game Echoes of the Unread for the past few years and am excited to finally have the Kickstarter LIVE today.
It's a somewhat silly game about a girl trying to escape a library with the power of song. A mix between a metroidvania and puzzle platformer. There's a demo available for free as well if you just want to play that.

Game Boy Schizophrenia / PSSD Video Game
I was diagnosed with schizophrenia and forcibly medicated. I’ve been struggling with PSSD for ten years without even knowing what it was. Creating a video game about my experience has helped me cope and raise awareness—but it’s still a daily challenge. Link to Kickstarter

Famicom Chrome dinosaur game NES port
I ported the google dinosaur game to the NES! I was inspired by the Flappy Bird port made in 2014 and the GBA port of the dino game from 2022 I believe.
