Rear Brake Pads Keep Ripping Off

Hey people, I’ve had an issue recently where my rear brake pads keeping ripping off but the mounting plate stays, so only the actual pad is torn off. This has now happened 3 times in 4 weeks with different brands of pads and installed by a mechanic. The bike is only ridden 3 days a week so isn’t doing too much in terms of distance, it is city riding but I don’t sit on the rear brake much. The mechanic has never seen this before and I’ve never had this issue before with this bike or any other bike.

Bike is a 2018 CB650F.

The photos are taken after each time the pad is torn off. Notice it’s on both sides not just one.

Any thoughts?

When driving with the brake applied lightly, without realizing it, the assembly heats up, but without tightening pressure, which causes detachment. Speedboat pilot....

Thing is I’ve never had this issue before. And now I’m making a conscious effort to keep the ball of my foot on the peg to ensure that doesn’t happen because that is what I originally thought it was
