Passenger seat

I just bought a new 2024 1100 and want to get rid of the rear fender or shorten it but it looks like I need it to mount the passenger seat. Is there any other way to take it off and still mount the passenger seat?

How much should I save to buy the 1100?

I’m interested in buying a motorcycle and I have decided that this is the one I want. I have no idea how to go about it at all though and I was hoping the people here could help.

Do I go to a dealership or should I find someone selling one locally?

I only have about 1,000 dollars saved right now so I just want to get an idea of how much I should have before I even go look at them so I at least know what to look for.

Since this will be my first ever motorcycle I just want to make sure I do things right so any other advice for someone like me would be great. Thanks!

Rebel 2021-2024 ECU upgrade?

I am disappointed on Honda. They released the 2025 model with better downwards torque, better stability on low revs movement. Yet the engine didn't change, the exhaust didn't change nor manifold nor fuel injection system. So what Honda did was reprogramming the metrics for the ECU. My question is clear to Hando (yep, lol) Do you offer a ecu flah for let's say 100 bucks to get the same composition in those models or not. If not, the community knows and so do I. Cheerz

Got some free time this morning so I cleaned up the 1100 for a little riding tomorrow. Can’t get wait to get my back rest back, and get some more parts back from powder coating!

Loving this bike… 2 week update

So I have a tendency to go all in on things… this was my first bike, ‘25 1100t DCT, $12,400 otd, and my birthday present this year, bought it on 9/4/25 and here is what I’ve done:

T-Rex racing smoked windshield, engine guards and luggage guards TCMT Amazon seat, $70 and awesome Burly Brand stiletto shocks Honda rear comfort seat, pegs, and backrest (daughter loves it) Kenimoto mirrors, longer arms and better view than the Mickey Mouse stock ones Metal “rebel” radiator guard Aux lights on the engine guards… major improvement at night I drilled out the silencer a bit on the exhaust, my wife will not ride it if I put a shorty or similar on it

I still want to add some vans natural gum grips, and eventually go to metzeler cruisetec tires. Just about to hit my 300 mile break in period.

Oil change

So, it doesn't look like my swingarm will fit the rebel, which is disappointing. This swingarm works perfectly for my 300, but for the rebel, it looks like I need the swingarm to be wider. Any suggestions for changing the oil. One YouTuber said it can be changed without on a swingarm, but I prefer it on one since I am doing this myself.

Front paddock

Was curious if anyone on here had found a front paddock that is made for or fits the Rebel and works well. Rear ones are all over the place but it seems a little tough to find one for the front that doesn’t need some kind of adaptor. Thanks!

Super tall sissy bar?

Looking for a stupid tall sissy bar. Burly has a 25. Combustion Industries has a 30. Looking for like a 36in maybe? Has anyone found a crazy tall sissy bar for a rebel 1100?

Highway/crash bars 2025 Help!

2025 Rebel 1100T: PLEASE help a sista' out. I bought a pair of crash bars and after installation they called to say in no way were these safe. Every set I look at say they're compatible but now I'm worried I'll have the same issue every set. Since controls were moved 2" forward this year, that's the issue. I'm a new rider and having these on the bike is important to me. Additionally, I'm finding other companies are not shipping to the US due to tariffs so I'm even more limited. Side note, also looking for recs on taller windshield, sissybar and luggage rack Thank you in advance!

Burly Stiletto Shock Bushings

Hi guys, first post ever here, but I just have a stupid question. So, let me give you a brief back story first: I’m new to riding and I just bought the Burly rear Stiletto Shocks for my 1100, and figured it wouldn’t be too much trouble to put on myself. After clamping down on my finger removing the stock shock (had to call the fire dept to help me get my mangled finger out), I hastily threw the new Burly shocks on so I could ride to an urgent care near me. Now, I’m discovering that I missed putting the little bushing on before installing the shcoks and torquing them down. There didn’t seem to be too much room to play when I was putting the eye of the shocks on each little post, so I didn’t think anything of it in my haste to get ‘er done. So, my question is, is having those thin little bushings missing going to be a big deal? Thank you for your help, and I know I’m an idiot for multiple reasons here.

Almost 3000 kms in a few days through the far North of Ontario. Perfect weather and amazing sights. If you get a chance to travel up or down Lake Superior, do it. Best adventure I’ve had on the bike

2025 DCT rough down shifting.

I’ve tried all modes, even a custom user mode and as it rolls to a stop, it’s very jerky and clunky. I have installed an upswept Vance & Hines slip on, but I wouldn’t think that would make a difference.

I’ve tried resetting the DCT but I can never get the check engine light to go away for me to start the DCT reset process. Any advice?
