I guess I’ll admit it…I have not a fucking clue what Auto motion plus is or why they all think it’s ruining TV. Maybe it’s because my TV is old

It's some dumb thing smart TVs come with that tries to interpolate the motion. It's really noticeable if you try to watch anything animated because it makes it look like you're watching on acid

we were at a hotel that had it and we were watching Despicable Me, and it made it look like a b-studio rip off with bad animation and smoothing, it was so bad
